The company was founded by Paul Orberson. Another selling point for Fortune High Tech Marketing is that Mr. Orberson is known as the person who has made the most money ever in an MLM business. He did it when he was with Excel Communications. He was retired for several years and came out of retirement to form this company. The company is located in Mr. Orberson’s home state of Kentucky. They operate in North America and the U.K.
The FHTM Products
The company has a wide range of products at its disposal. It is a company that understands retail sales. They market several types of consumer products as a “middleman”. That is, they sell many products that are instantly recognizable, such as all the major cell phone companies, Dish TV network, a VOIP service, home security, high speed internet, and much more. They also have a line of privately labeled health and nutrition products. So if you are looking for a Network Marketing company that sell things people actually use, this is one to consider. Products are available through the FHTM Rewards Mall, an online shopping service provided to Fortune by the BSP Rewards Network.
The FHTM Compensation
FHTM has a significant residual income available to business builders. This makes it a true MLM instead of a pyramid scheme or some other kind of MLM scam. You can make bonus income, residual income, and non-cash incentives. Their non-cash incentives are as good as I have seen. Once you qualify for a specific level in the company’s compensation plan, you get a Lexus. Not a bad bonus. There is also the opportunity reach travel incentives to famous and exotic places, cruises, and the like. The last I heard, it cost $199 to become an FHTM Independent Representative. There was talk of the fee to join coming down even more. You should talk to an FHTM Independent Representative to confirm this. As with any other MLM business, there is a monthly purchase requirement. It is not too difficult to deal with, because you can mostly replace the kinds of things you already use.
The Bad News
FHTM has had a couple of run-ins with state regulators in recent years. In one state, the comp plan and entry fee had to be changed as part of the legal settlement. There have been changes in how they do business in response to these incidents. Now that these speed bumps have been taken care of, the people at FHTM are confident it is clear sailing ahead. One other issue with FHTM is that their website, back office and access to FHTM University – training, administration and such, is not terribly intuitive.
Simply becoming an “FHTM” independent representative is not an automatic ticket to wealth. All you really have is products and an opportunity. You must market this opportunity. Your success, or lack of it, will depend on two things. One, your ability to bring representatives into your business and to train them properly. And two, your ability to generate product sales. By far the most challenging is number one. A system that will teach you to brand yourself is the key to generating your own leads. A good Attraction Marketing System is the right tool for this.
