You decided to become an Attraction Marketer. You found a proven Attraction Marketing System, and you have started to learn about the strategies included in it. But now you have some MLM leads. “Hold On! I’m not ready yet!” In fact, some people will fiddle with their system forever and never deal with their leads. You’re not one of those people are you?
Converting MLM Leads
But doesn’t an Attraction Marketing System sign people up automatically? Not really. A good one will give people an easy path to check out the system, but it not designed to move everyone into your MLM opportunity. Yes, a good one will make people aware of your opportunity, and sometimes people will sign up. But you must understand where the best downline team members come from. They are people you develop relationships with. They could live next door, in the next state or even farther away. The key is to build that relationship. These will be your key leaders. In order to succeed in your Network Marketing business, you must develop leaders. So how do you start?
You start by deciding you are not going to hide behind your Attraction Marketing System. You have MLM leads, and you will step out from behind the system and make contact with them. It is the first step in lead conversion.
What NOT To Do With MLM Leads
Once you make contact, what is the first thing you do? Do you tell them in exquisite detail about your wonderful MLM opportunity; do you talk about how no one else in the world has a product like yours; do you talk about the amazing ground floor opportunity they were fortunate enough to run into; do you mention that there is no other compensation on the planet that is as good as this one; and do you say that they better get in while they can?
I hope you don’t do any of that stuff. I hope you take the last paragraph as a list of things NOT to do. If anything will send those leads scurrying back to where they came from, it is those things. Remember what the key to Attraction Marketing is. It is the fact that you represent a solution to these peoples’ problems. Shouldn’t you find out what that problem is? Shouldn’t you try to relate to these people on a personal level? Don’t pitch, talk. Ask questions. Make them see that you have been where they are. Your first priority is to help them understand how the system can put them on the road to solving their problems. If they are seriously looking at MLM, it is definitely a way to help them solve their problems. If they are not sure, be understanding. No one is sure right off the bat. Ask them how you can help them make up their mind. Be sure they understand that whichever way they go, it is OK with you. Also make sure they have evaluated the Attraction Marketing System in detail. It is not possible to make a good decision with incomplete information.
This is a good first step when talking with your “MLM leads”. Obviously, there is more to it than this. Become more familiar with your Attraction Marketing System. It will have the resources to help you learn the lead conversion process so you are comfortable with it.
