In talking about building an MLM list, please keep something in mind. I am not talking about the list of 100 friends, family, and people you do business with. You don’t need me to teach you that. Every Network Marketing company in the world tells its new distributors to do that. What I am talking about is becoming an online MLM list builder.

If you are going to have an MLM home business, this is one of the most important skill you can develop. Don’t ignore the warm list MLM businesses tell you to put together. You can get some leads here. But online marketing will give you someplace to go when you run through your list of 100 warm contacts. And you will run through it – faster than you think. The question everyone asks is how do I get started on a new MLM list? I have already gone through my contact list.

The easiest way to get an MLM list started is to buy a list of email addresses from a list company. Most of these companies have a list of people who are already in MLM. I’m not going to recommend this or tell you not to do it. You can make your own decision. It is out there, it costs some money, and some people have made it work. If you have the extra cash, it might be worth a try. If your marketing resources are limited, then I would say try to build your own MLM list. Buying an MLM list is a little better than buying leads, if only because you are emailing rather than calling. Emailing takes less time. You have to realize that just like purchased MLM leads, these people are pounded daily with all sorts of MLM email messages. Most are never opened, but some are.

The approach to a purchased list and building your own MLM list is actually the same. You are offering to solve a problem. The problem is that people have no leads or have no cash or both. Not a good thing in any business. Your message should NOT be about your revolutionary product or the amazing comp plan. That won’t get anyone’s attention. Plus, the longer you are around MLM, the more you realize that every comp plan is amazing, and every product is revolutionary. This is where marketing becomes hype. Don’t be that guy. The difference in the two kinds of MLM list is this: in one method, you are trying to throw a net over everyone; in the other method you are throwing a lasso over a targeted prospect. When you properly build your own MLM list people come to you because they see that you might be able to solve their problem. This is why they are called targeted MLM leads.

Build Your MLM List Through Attraction Marketing

Instead of trying to create this MLM list all  on your own, it makes sense to align yourself with a system that will teach you how to do this, plus a lot more. I am talking about an Attraction Marketing System. A good system will have all the pieces in place, and all you have to do is plug yourself into it. Things like blogging, online content with links, video marketing, article marketing and much more is all part of a good system. All this is part of the process of building a good MLM list, and you learn it at your own pace. Become an MLM list builder and become wealthy.
